Rocky Mountain Family Camp Out, August 23 – 28, 2023
We are excited to host the annual Rocky Mountain Polyamory Family Camp-out in the summer of 2023. Due to Covid-19, we will require a negative Covid-19 test prior to admittance to the campground.
Come spend a weekend in the amazing White River National Forest near Carbondale, CO. Join us for hiking, playing, and just hanging out with other polyamorous families from the Rocky Mountain Region.

As always, children are welcome. Young children need to be well supervised as there are many dangers from rattle snakes and bears to a fast flowing river.
Location: CAMPGROUND – Near Carbondale, CO (Exact location will be emailed to attendees) Located near Carbondale, Colorado, Campground sits on the banks of the Crystal River on the western slope of the Colorado Rockies. This is a bit of a drive but well worth it. Lot’s of beautiful scenery, hiking, and places to see nearby. We have reserved the group campground in White River National Forest. Tent camping and a limited number of RVs. Space is limited.
Schedule: Camp out is from Wednesday through Monday. Hiking, sightseeing, and other activities are being planned. Communication, organization and planning the details are done on the Campout list on Meetup. We need volunteers to help with the planning for this.
Cost: $49 for adults, $25 kids (6-17), kids under 5 free. Registration is online.
What to Bring: Tents, sleeping bags, camp chairs, layers of clothing, food, plenty of drinking water, firewood, cook stove, propane and of course wine and s’more fixins.
Dangers: This is rattle snake, bear, and mountain lion country. All bear rules apply as at any Colorado Campground.
Camping and participate at your own risk. While we will take safety precautions by requiring negative Covid-19 test. Covid is a risk you assume in attending. Release of Liability required for ALL participants, including children (parents assume responsibility for their children).
